Spiritual Development Opportunities
Our Discipleship Groups are small groups that help believers grow in every area of the Christian Faith. Jesus commissioned the Church to “Make Disciples.” This ministry promotes the idea that every member ought to become a disciple .
The Mid-week Bible Study builds up our love for the Bible and Basic Bible study skills. Early Morning Praise Service provides the early-birds with a midweek spiritual fellowship.
Intercessory Prayer is an open group that under-girds every congregation ministry and activity with effectual prayer.
Missions Ministry is the congregation’s effort to remain true to the global perspective of the Great Commission.
Ministry to Men and the Women’s Fellowship offer gender specific faith building and fellowship opportunities that range from good clean fun to spiritual warfare.
Marital Oneness Groups helps couples develop and maintain healthy marriages and these groups provide engaged couples with in-depth premarital guidance.

Additionally, the NSCHD was awarded $500,000.00 in August to train Hartford residents for supervisory jobs in environmental remediation.
Ida B. Wells Incorporated is the single purpose corporation that owns and operates the Phillips Metropolitan Apartments, a 40-unit Senior Housing Development built by NSCHD.
